Catalogs In our determination to provide our consignors with the very best marketing tools, we use professional award winning photographers and fine quality print medium to produce our richly illustrated catalogues. Each Spring and Autumn thousands of clients receive these printed catalogues on a subscription basis in advance of the Fine Art auctions. In addition, a complimentary online version of the sales catalogue is available three weeks prior to the auction. A link to the online catalogue is available on this website as soon as the catalogue becomes available. Marketing Our consignors are provided with optimum marketing coverage. By means of traditional and electronic media announcements we are able to quickly and effectively advise our global client base of pending auctions, in addition to alerting clients with specialized interests. Transportation Walker's undertake the sorting and packing of all objects consigned for auction, as a portion of their standard service agreement. We have relationships with numerous local and international packers and shippers, and are pleased to assist in arranging reliable and cost-effective shipping on a global basis for pickup or delivery. Commissions We provide highly competitive terms to all of our clients. Standard commission terms consistent with industry standards are available, however important individual objects or collections are considered on an individual basis. We welcome the opportunity to provide a competitive commission quote and individually tailored sales proposal. Restoration If necessary, we can provide arrangements for premium restoration of paintings and furniture with your approval. Our professionals are the best at their craft and we are able to negotiate a reasonable price when their services are utilized. As an option the direct cost can be deducted from the proceeds of your sale at auction - there is no out-of-pocket cost to you.
